Dale Guenter

Dr. Guenter earned a Masters in Public Health from Harvard University in 1997 and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Calgary in 1987. Dr. Guenter's international health planning experience includes working with the United Nations Program on HIV/AIDS in Uganda, Thailand and Brazil, and teaching medicine and public health in the Philippines. Dr. Guenter is a full-time member of the Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University. His practice also includes HIV care, general primary care and conducting research on community-based health services models for people with HIV/AIDS. Dr. Guenter is widely experienced in assessing needs and values among community members and facilitating the development of a collective vision and an effective plan for community health. He has broad experience in project preparation and appraisal in both community-based health initiatives and in clinical settings.
